The benefits of traditional Thai massage are based on the principles of Ayurveda, which originated in India. During this massage, we use acupressure and supportive yoga poses to adjust your body’s energy lines. Our professional Thai spa master starts the massage from the feet and moves upwards; with knees, feet, elbows and hands, the massage masters perform various pressures on certain points of the body. Also, the master helps the guest to perform stretching exercises to reduce physical and emotional stress – sometimes this massage is called “yoga for the lazy”. Every time, we slightly modify the massage and adapt it to the guest’s needs.
Traditional Thai massage increases flexibility, reduces pain and muscle tension, and improves blood circulation. Regularly performing this massage has a strong effect on the general physical and emotional state of the whole body.
Traditional Thai massage should not be given to those who suffer from serious heart disease, high blood pressure, or osteoporosis. Also, this massage is not recommended during pregnancy.
