Terms and Conditions for gift coupons and massage subscriptions

1. General provisions:

1.1. These general rules for purchase, sale and use of UAB East Island gift coupons and massage subscriptions (hereinafter – Rules) regulate the provision of these services in UAB East Island service points (hereinafter – SPA centres) and in a company-owned and operated online shop eastisland.lt (hereinafter – Online shop) ensuring compliance with and implementation of the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and legal acts on consumer rights protection.

1.2. UAB East Island gift coupon (hereinafter – Gift Coupon) is a single-use or reusable special form in a prescribed format, confirming the fact of prepayment by the purchaser and entitling the purchaser to purchase the services or goods offered or sold by the SPA centres during a specified period.

1.3. UAB East Island massage subscription (hereinafter – Massage Subscription) is a reusable special form in a prescribed format which confirms the fact of prepayment by the purchaser and entitles the purchaser to use the services provided by the designated SPA centres for a set period of time and under specified conditions.

1.4. By receiving, ordering or using Gift Coupons or Massage Subscriptions, purchasers acknowledge that they have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If the purchaser is not familiar with these Terms and Conditions, UAB East Island has the right to refuse to provide services.

1.5. These Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the terms and conditions of any transaction entered into by purchasers using the company’s services.

1.6. UAB East Island reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Such amendments shall take effect from the date of their publication on the Online Shop eastisland.lt.

2. Purchase of Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions:

2.1. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions are available at the SPA Centres and in the Online Shop.

2.2. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions are issued only after the full price of the Gift Coupon or Massage Subscription has been paid.

2.3. Gift Coupon and Massage Subscription shall bear and/or record the face value of the coupon and/or the name of the service, the identification numbers, the expiry date and such other information as is necessary for the proper information of the customer and the performance of the functions of the Gift Coupon and Massage Subscription.

2.4. Gift Coupon and Massage Subscription are protected by a unique identification code and other security features.

2.5. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated on the Gift Voucher or Massage Subscription) in all EAST ISLAND SPA Centres (Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Druskininkai), regardless of where they were purchased.

2.6. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions purchased in the online shop are sent to the buyer by e-mail (electronic voucher) or delivered to a specified address in Lithuania (physical voucher). SPA centres only sell physical coupons. It is not possible to exchange an electronic coupon for a physical coupon or vice versa, and it is not possible to pick up a Gift Coupon or a Massage Subscription purchased in the Online Shop at the SPA Centre after purchase.

2.7. Additional charges may apply for additional services associated with the Gift Coupon and Massage Subscription (such as coupon delivery, coupon box, etc.). Before receiving such services, the purchaser is informed about the additional taxation of the respective service and the amount of the applicable tax.

2.8. For the purchase of Gift Coupons and/or Massage Subscriptions, an invoice in the prescribed form shall be issued at the request of the purchaser to document the sale of the Gift Coupon or Massage Subscription. A VAT invoice can only be issued after the service has been provided or the goods have been purchased at the SPA centre.

2.9. Due to technical difficulties or other circumstances, the sale of Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions may be suspended or interrupted. UAB East Island shall also have the right to suspend and/or terminate the provision of the services in respect of a particular purchaser if that customer is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, any other rules or conditions imposed by the company, or if the customer’s conduct is criminal or contrary to public policy or good morals.

3. Use of Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions:

3.1. The Purchaser may use the purchased Gift Coupon or Massage Subscription himself/herself or transfer it to a third party.

3.2. In order to use the services or purchase products at the SPA centres, you must present a Gift Coupon or a Massage Subscription in physical or electronic form.

3.3. Lost or misplaced Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions cannot be replaced.

3.4. If the Gift Coupon or Massage Subscription is damaged, i.e. its identification number cannot be read, EAST ISLAND SPA has the right not to accept it. Damaged Gift Coupons or Massage Subscriptions will not be accepted or refunded.

3.5. One Gift Coupon can be redeemed several times, with the unused amount remaining for the next time.

3.6. If the price of the services or goods purchased is higher than the amount of the Gift Coupon, the purchaser shall pay the difference by other means of payment (bank card, cash, other Gift Coupon).

3.7. Once the Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions have been used in full, they become invalid.

3.8. Unused Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions amounts are non-refundable.

3.9. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash or another Gift Coupon or Massage Subscription, and cannot be topped up.

3.10. Gift Coupon cannot be used to purchase another Gift Coupon, a Massage subscription, SPA&Hotel offer  and cannot be used to pay in the Online Shop.

4. Terms and conditions for extending the validity of Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions:

4.1. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions are valid from the date of purchase, i.e. the date of payment. Their validity period is indicated on the Coupons and Subscriptions.

4.2. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions can be renewed upon expiry:

4.2.1. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions can only be renewed if they are unused or underused and not more than 60 (sixty) calendar days have elapsed since their expiry date.

4.2.2. Gift Coupon and the Massage Subscription can be extended for an additional period of 90 (ninety) calendar days (from the date of payment of the extension fee).

4.2.3. Gift Coupons and Massage Subscriptions renewals are subject to a fee of EUR 8 (eight).

4.3. For an extension, you must submit a free-form request by email to info@eastisland.lt in which it is necessary to indicate the identification number of the Gift Coupon and/or Massage Subscription to be renewed, or to attach a copy of the Gift Coupon and/or Massage Subscription.

4.4. After receiving the approval that Gift Coupon and/or Massage Subscription meets the renewal conditions, the renewal fee must be paid to the bank account of East Island UAB LT594010051005441713. The purpose of the payment must be “Gift Coupon or Massage Subscription renewal service and coupon identification number”.

4.5. Payment of the renewal service fee must be notified by email to info@eastisland.lt adding the payment copy.

4.6. The validity of the Gift Coupon and/or Massage Subscription shall be extended within 3 (three) working days from the date of notification of the payment and crediting the payment to the bank account of East Island. Confirmation of the renewal of the Gift Coupon and Massage Subscription will be sent to the same email address as the renewal fee payment information.

4.7. Upon expiry of the Gift Coupon and/or Massage Subscription and if it is not renewed within the specified period of time, the unused balance of the Gift Coupon and Massage Subscription will be forfeited and the Gift Coupon or Massage Subscription will be cancelled and may not be used further.
